We’re getting a little snow here in the Midwest, and as always, every cat in this house has a deeply personal opinion about “the sky doing weird shit.”
Thumbs, for instance, absolutely hates any sort of atmospheric misbehavior — rain, sleet, snow, clouds thinking too hard — and immediately becomes our screaming weather alert alarm. Moo is… Moo. Completely unimpressed, vibes unbothered, carrying on with her day as if snow is a rumor started by peasants. Esme will watch it for about thirty seconds before her brain hits the “ooh, something else!” button. Noodles gets worried for us, like he’s personally responsible for making sure we don’t get buried alive. Butters just wants to be wherever I am, meteorological chaos or not.
And then there’s Archie and Arnold — my little storm-watchers — sitting at the door, absolutely fascinated as the snow falls. They get so excited watching it come down that it’s basically their Super Bowl.
So here they are, caught in the act, watching their favorite weather show. The generator got them VERY close!
