Maika and Aiden
The seeds of this project were planted in February 2025, when Andy’s flirting with Fin was getting impossible to miss. Fin launched into an enthusiastic infodump, then apologized for being awkward—only for Andy to grin and say he enjoys infodumps, that he’s like a sponge. Fin bit his tongue on the obvious filthy reply, and Andy shot back: “Dammit, I was hoping to make you break.”
That night Fin made art: a long-haired, bearded man with glowing golden eyes who looked suspiciously like Andy’s alter ego Dark Passion (because Fin didn’t dare touch DP directly without permission at the time), and an elf with short silver hair who looked like a cis version of Fin. They appeared together in sensual, suggestive poses across three sets—“Silver and Gold,” “You Can Have My Sword,” and the very unsubtle “Make Me Break.” To this day it is the most brazen thing Fin has ever done, and Andy got the message. We slid into each other's DMs and swapped emails. Two days later, after even more charged flirting, we had cybersex. Then as the days wore on we started to catch feelings!
Around the same time as the first sexual encounter, Andy told Fin he was making art of these two characters in Egypt, one of his geeky fixations, with the idea they’d travel from place to place at random. That spark set Fin writing their prequel story to explain how it all began. And so Maikafinwë Telperinquarion—half-Sinda, half-Noldo, son of Celebrimbor and grandson of Fëanor—and Aiden, a tattooed werewolf warrior, came to life.
Since then, we’ve been weaving their adventures together in words and art, letting them stumble across time and continents, bickering, bantering, and falling in love in every strange place they land. In their own way, Maika and Aiden are partly to blame (or thank) for our relationship—they’re fictional, yes, but without them, we might not have found each other quite the same way.
