This Songfic is one I’ve wanted to create for a long time. But every time I tried, it felt like hitting a wall.
It’s a heavy one—therapeutic, yes—but also deeply personal. It speaks to a time in my twenties when I learned just how much damage coldness can do. Twice, I found myself trusting women who I thought were kind, only to discover how sharp distance and emotional detachment can be.
They didn’t raise fists.
They didn’t scream.
But their words, silences, and cold deflections left scars I didn’t even know I had.
For years, I carried that pain quietly.
And then I met Fin.
He didn’t tear my walls down, he helped me lower them. Gently. Safely.
And now, I’m finally ready to share this.
