One Year Anniversary - February 20, 2026
On February 20, 2026, we celebrated one year since the DM exchange that changed everything — where we traded e-mails, and then in a subsequent e-mail conversation discovered to our mutual surprise and relief that the crush we each had was mutual. And then we fell — joyfully, wholeheartedly, and faster than either of us expected — and we’ve never looked back.
Unfortunately, almost immediately out the gate, life began throwing things at us, and we dealt with bullying on DA about our relationship, so we didn't really get the honeymoon period we deserved past the first month. But instead of breaking us, it tempered us. We learned how to show up, how to hold steady, how to choose each other again and again. We are stronger now — steadier, fiercer, softer in the right places. Here you’ll find the gifts we created for one another to celebrate an entire year, because art is one of the ways we say “I love you.” It’s our love language, our spellwork, our promise made visible.

Oath of Flame and Fang
For Fin,
my Fire Mage, my safe place, my lovable bratty Omega.
You walked into my life like a glittery spark with excellent timing
and somehow convinced the wolf in me to sit, stay,
and maybe even wag his tail a little.
Your flame doesn’t burn me, it feeds me.
It lights the dark corners, warms the cold nights,
and makes me want to growl and bare my teeth at anything
that ever dared to hurt you.
So here’s the oath, forged in passion and sealed with only chains for play:
your fire gets my loyalty,
your heart gets my protection,
and your ridiculous, brilliant self
gets my love in each eternal moment.
Come here and let your Alpha keep you warm.

Oath of Moon and Root
Beneath one sky, by many names,
we placed our promise where silver light could find it.
Gold for the warmth of every morning we choose,
silver for the quiet constellations that keep watch when words fall asleep.
Your faith, a star set in living stone.
Mine, a spiral grown from earth and rain.
Different paths, braided like roots beneath the altar,
drinking from the same deep water.
Glass remembers the shape of flame and breath.
So do we.
Every vow held in fragile strength,
every fracture mended by touch and time.
Let these rings be small moons we carry,
circling the gravity of us.
Let every candle whisper the same blessing:
that love is not one language,
but a chorus that learns its harmony by listening.
Under teal wings and violet light,
before rune and star and moss and memory,
I choose you again,
and again,
and again.
we placed our promise where silver light could find it.
Gold for the warmth of every morning we choose,
silver for the quiet constellations that keep watch when words fall asleep.
Your faith, a star set in living stone.
Mine, a spiral grown from earth and rain.

Braided Light
Braided Light
We did not meet in silence,
nor in ease,
but in the bright work of becoming.
Hand to hand,
we learned the shape of repair
how fracture can glow,
how joining leaves gold behind.
We are not bound by oath alone,
but by the daily choosing:
your breath near mine,
your light answering my own.
One year,
and already we have built a language
that only our hands can speak.
If time asks what we made of it,
let this be the answer:
we stood,
we healed,
we stayed.
And in the quiet between heartbeats
we became
infinite.
We did not meet in silence,
nor in ease,
but in the bright work of becoming.
Hand to hand,
we learned the shape of repair
how fracture can glow,
how joining leaves gold behind.
We are not bound by oath alone,

infinite.
