Welcome to My Grove
There was a time I walked with the Church. I carried faith like a candle in a cathedral — reverent, careful, and quietly trusting. But in the aftermath of seeing the church as merely men spouting heavily slanted texts, I found myself standing in the ruins of certainty, no longer able to offer my heart to an institution that had buried its compassion beneath dogma.
I did not lose belief… I lost trust.
And so, I turned away — not from spirit, but from the walls built to contain it. I wandered. I listened. I waited.
And it was in the wild places — under stormlit skies and among ancient trees — that I began to hear the whisper of something older. Something sacred that didn’t demand kneeling, only presence. In the rustle of leaves, in the crackle of fire, in the hush of stone and stream… I remembered the ways of my Druidic ancestors.
I am, at heart, a theologist — I’ve always found meaning in the great mosaic of belief. I see beauty in temples and texts, in myth and ritual across the world. But it is here, among earth and sky, where I feel truly seen.
Nature does not judge.
Spirits do not condemn.
The sacred does not require shame.
Here, I find peace.
This is not a doctrine. It is not a sermon.
It is a grove — a place to breathe, to question, to remember.
Where fire meets water, where ancestors walk beside us, and where the divine is not separate from the world… but woven through it like mist in the grass.
