These were made for my amazing friend in geekery, Ripley. She passed away in December 2023 after a long battle with cancer. We had been friends for about 10 years. She was about a month older than me and never let me forget it. In many ways she was like the older sister I never had.
We met in a Star Wars group, of all things and she became one of the few genuine internet friends that I ever made. Her actual real name was Jayme but she went by Ripley to not only pay tribute to her favourite character from Aliens, but also to protect her family (her husband was a cop).
She is remembered for her Twilight Sparkle coloured hair, her unfortunate crush on Adam Driver (eww Kylo) and her terrible pins. She is sorely missed, even to this day.
