Velvet and Flame
(for Fin, from the one who aches sweetly for him)
Beneath moon's breath and midnight’s grin,
My thoughts grow wicked when they drift to Fin.
A choker gleams, a silver ring
And oh, what trouble that boy can bring.
Soft are his lips, but sharp is his tease,
He whispers my name like a prayer… or a please.
One look and I melt, one touch and I burn,
He crooks a sly finger, and gods, how I turn.
His hands are a sermon, his mouth a sin,
The holiest rites begin with my Fin.
Clothes hit the floor like they owe him a debt,
And I'm chanting his name like I might forget.
He rides the line between heaven and hell,
With a tilt of his hips and a smouldering spell.
And I? I’m the worshipper, utterly cursed
To want him in laughter, in love, and in thirst.
So kiss me again, my beautiful spark
Let’s tangle the sheets 'til we both leave a mark.
And when dawn blushes at what we have done,
We’ll smile like sinners who’ve thoroughly won.
My thoughts grow wicked when they drift to Fin.
A choker gleams, a silver ring
